California has been hit really hard in the job market, and currently it is the 3rd hardest hit state in the nation with almost 1 in 10 people are out of work. For many Americans, the prospects of being homeless will plague America for awhile. Most Americans have lost confidence in business and government. So, it will take some solid leadership in the business community. And, government officials must move quickly to reassure Americans.
A lifting of the American spirit must be undertaken. Fine speeches are not enough now. Talk is cheap. It is time for action by the Obama administration.
Timothy,
Thank you for the visit. You remarked:"the prospects of being homeless will plague America for awhile"
As I travel around the this great nation, I've seen people and families that look like they are new homeless Americans. And, thats really sad.
You stated: "A lifting of the American spirit must be undertaken. Fine speeches are not enough now. Talk is cheap. It is time for action by the Obama administration. "
Clearly, you and I are not on the same page when it comes to Pres. Obama. However, your words are correct today... I understand and respect your posture, and I too have grown weary of fancy speeches... something must be done, soon. He said he was the right person for the job, Great - time to fix this mess!
